God bless the Japanese. Known as arbiters of pop culture, when they get into something, they REALLY get into something. So it wasn't a stretch to assume that whatever K brought back from her recent trip home was going to be awesome.
And it was.

I think Japan may have invented the word "fetish", because there is no other way to classify this Colnago magazine that ended up on my desk via Boston/Tokyo. While Europe and the U.S. may be in the final stages of worshipping everything NJS/track, Japanese bike culture seemingly has a collective obsession with all things Euro. This magazine (if I can even call it that - it's insanely hefty and slick) is equal parts history book, photo journal, and (bike)porno mag.
Great pics of contemporary Colnago bikes, behind-the-scenes factory shots, and what appears to be the entire catalogue of bikes, mixed in with classic race imagery and vintage bike specs means there's something in here for Colnago enthusiasts, casual browsers and of course, fetishists.
And you can now put me in the latter category...
