Route 9W. A road I know all too well. It's a lifeline for all NYC road cyclists. Heading north from the NJ side of the George Washington Bridge, 9W sports a wide shoulder, rolling landscape, and leads to popular destinations such as Piermont, Nyack, College Hills, and Bear Mountain.
Now it's also the name of a smart new photo/cycling journal. I got my hands on a copy the other day, and I love it. Published - and featuring photos and words - by Harry Zernike, the magazine is a compact ode to cycling. Memories of friends and rides, travels and scenery - as soon as I put it down, I wanted to hop on my bike.
Here are a few sneak peeks, but be sure and get your copy here.
