As best as we can tell, the Landlords book represents nothing short of a visual cycling manifesto. Take some old school East Coast bike messenger culture, a lot of neon and Italian steel, a healthy dose of Merckx, and a dash of weed, put it all in a hardbound cover, and you have Landlords Cycling. Straight from Philly.
And it's amazing.

]]>Earlier last week, our favorite California-based bike brand Ritte was featured in Wired Magazine. We've been meaning to post these photos of the beautiful stainless/carbon Ritte Steeplechase that we sold to an NYC customer recently (build via Ifixbyx). Søren J from the NYC Rapha Racing squad put this bike together for the Northeast CX season, and performed quite admirably at several local races. He keeps telling us how much he loved the performance, and how much attention the bike drew each weekend (we believe him).
On a recent visit, the folks at Ifixbyx were giving it an end-of-season tune up and we grabbed the bike for a quick photo shoot. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to stop by our space in Red Hook to check out a Bosberg or just chat about Ritte in general.

]]>In the sketch, a tour of North Cornwall quickly devolves into a travelogue of bicycle accidents, damaged foodstuffs, and hanging out with Trotsky - as it somehow winds its way through Southern France, Smolensk, and Moscow. Eartha Kitt even makes an appearance at the end.
By far the smartest sketch comedy show of its era, Monty Python's Flying Circus went on to make some of the funniest (and most quoted) films ever.
